STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Like "nah dude I don't do yoga I do romwod I don't even know what yoga is sounds like it's for moms"

I can't wait for that to happen.

Man I had a good day at the gym. Wish all my days were like this. Not once did I feel tired and I had a great pump going. Completely destroyed my back and chest. Since I work Monday, tomorrow I'll do deads and aim for a new PR

Anyone doing Layne Norton's PH3?

I'm really liking hitting bench, squat, and DL so often :hat

I completed the Day 55 Rep Test this morning. I've really enjoyed the program so far. Before I started, I hadn't power lifted since H.S. I'm impressed with how much progress I've made.

LMAOOOOO

Do you guys play any sports? I'm assuming the majority in here only lift because I'm always reading about flexibility issues due to not stretching.

NEW PR! I got 1/4 of the way on the lift and had that out of body experience. Like I was just watching myself lift lol. First day lifting barefoot too

It's amazing how up and down the body goes. 90 percent of my 1 rep max felt LIGHT on friday.

80 percent of it felt heavy today. I couldn't eem do all the sets programmed.

I got a league intramural bball game in an hour. Played on Wed and stupidly again on Friday and woke up yesterday with a bit of a body fever. I want to play so bad but Monday is my first day off work - can't be failing too hard on my 1st day. I think I'l go and try to play maybe 8 mins and 2 quarters as a sub instead of starting. Any tips on what to eat after to battle inflammation/body pains? Thinking I'll eat a banana and take some Advil.

I've decided to take a break from squats because of it. I've been doing nothing but squats, deadlifts, bench, OHP, and rows. Gonna change it up for a few weeks and see how I feel.

I don't think I can ever take a break from squats. The problem today is I went to 80 percent on my snatches, 80 percent on my clean and jerks, and 110 percent on my snatch pulls..and then I had to squat to 80 percent.

Sometimes I want to kill my coach lol

:hat nice man. Barefoot dl club.

I'm gonna try some resistance bands on the bench tonight. Kind of a random night in the gym. Got dl tomorrow so I don't want to take from that so I'm just going to try some new stuff for fun.

Dang, that sounds killer. I wanna try Oly lifts but I'm definitely not teaching myself via YouTube lol. I don't really know anyone that does.

I'm only taking a break from squats because my lower back's been bothering me. When I initially felt it I just told myself I'd go light but I ended up just pushing myself again. Squats are my favorite lift too so taking this break is tough for me.

You'll be alright since it's your day off on Monday.
