This - traps are too easy to build for me - naturally big as well.

Same here bro. Got damn cobra out here. Having to put in extra work on my delts to balance. Feels like I hit traps on every damn exercise. Always retracting that scapula.

OHP / light Bench yesterday

DL / light squats today

Pulled for my "last" set 315×8 but f'ed around and pulled 405×2 on DL

I just want 5 plates already.
 
Crossfit decreases testosterone in men. Your estrogen levels will increase.

That is a fact.

But what do I know? IM only a sports scientist that studies for a living.


Isn’t it a fact that decreases in testosterone can happen via alcohol consumption, stress, lack of sleep, etc.

I’m not saying CrossFit is the way by any means, but the oly movements seem to be looked at by the stringer “bros” as “CrossFit”.

I just find that notion funny.
 
And also fat mass leading to test drops and estrogen rises.

Some people should focus on losing the fat

Oly is the most impressive lifting ever to me.

There’s this little dude at my gym. Like my size who competes in Olympic. 4 plate front squat for reps. 2 plate ohs. He’s strong af. Never seen him max out but I’m sure it’s crazy.

Also too much test can lead to your body producing estrogen...
 
i’m curious to see as to why he says that testosterone decreases. because of the rise of cortisol? also how does it compare to people who workout 2-3 hrs a day 5-6 days a week?

Na, I knew his comments were directed towards me.

Never even stepped into a “box” in my life.

I just love doing oly lifts over power lifts like I used to.

I accomplished everything in powerlifting that I wanted.

If your fitness journey doesn’t change and take you in new directions playing with your body, then I feel sorry for you and you’re stuck.

Some people still do the same 4 movements that their bros do.
