STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

what do some of you guys do for calves? Those of you that actually work them, and don't have those super hero genes that garner you huge calves from squats lol

Jump rope

Yep. Haven't isolated calves in a while and mines are as big as ever.
oh I'm sure he is still claiming that. but iirc he tested positive in his last comp and was dq'd. i don't know if it's achievable, being that ripped with that amount of fullness and size. although I've also never seen him in person, so pics can be deceiving and he could be much smaller in real life.

dunno how lean you have ever gotten but when you are tight you appear bigger also

i would not say riches is huge........................he def looks natural but you never know these days

yea Lucky.................anyone who is big or ripped will get accused these days. its flattering for me.
Yea. Last summer I was in the best shape of my life. Core was tight. Made the upper body look monstrous.

Back to lifting heavy. I've realized that I'm happiest when I'm training solo and tossing around heavy weight. Spent most of the past year mentoring a few buddies in the gym so my own gains began to slip. Still in pretty decent shape, but I definitely need to do my own thing for a while. Focus on my gains and be a lil more selfish.

Going to buy my boxing equipment as a christmas gift to myself and set it all up. The push I need to get back into it this winter and stop making excuses.

Thanks was in HM and nothing fits because of my shoulders and quads smh I like that aesthetic tight shirt douche look though. Sheesh is there a clothing company that caters to Non Betas? 6 ft + over 200 master race gets no love
Ya I've pretty much resorted to ordering my clothes from JCrew knowing that their Tall Large and 34/36 fits pretty well.

Changing routines for muscle confusion is a myth, or nah?
How are your muscles going to get confused - they don't have brains...

If you're not plateauing on a routine, why change it? I don't get why you'd schedule to change your routine at a set point in time. Pick a routine that works for you and commit to it over a significant period of time. Program hopping is a progress killer, because it makes it much harder to be consistent.

For me to get the fake natty look I would have to get down to like 180 or something and then slooooooooow bulk for like 2 years lol. My gripe with my body is my stomach holds my fat so while my traps and arms
Look beastly I still have muffin top left and my chest aren't as full as I want them to be but I know that can be fixed by how much they grew in the 4 months I was eating whatever.

And man I got an issue lol like I can't be around junk or I just smash it all idk if I just have a binge problem or my body is really hungry I'm better off not being around cookies and poptarts than to try to eat them in a orderly fashion.

I got home coming nxt week, it's the only time of year I drink think I'm gonna just be on some crown black and coke zero, since I'm not a heavy drinker anymore I don't have a taste for straight alcohol

No business in H&M, Zara, etc. Stores that cater to males with female physiques.

JCrew, Uniqlo (Surprisingly), Banana Republic/Gap, Lands End, Frank & Oak are some solid options. Unfortunately when it comes to shirts you will have to size up for shoulders/neck, and have a tailor slim down the midsection. It's the only way, unless you go the MTM (Made to Measure) route. Dropped 40lbs. since the beginning of the year (20 more to go, :evil), still rocking XL (:{). Tailor and I are on a first name basis now doe.

yep i was big on B republic, now im more j crew

i also have some Gap stuff also

only stuff i have from H&M are sweats lol

Bruh that HM is dirt cheap though for quick throwaway fits. Once I get to my ideal frame though is when I'll invest more in my gear. I was wearing 34s in certain brands but I'm back to a 36 in non slim fit stuff. If my legs get any bigger though it's gonna be ugly smh not tryna be one of them Swole dudes rocking them Paco jeans like Kali muscle and Phil Heath

Don't sleep on BR for basics, as much as I want to stray sometimes, their constant coupon/promo codes keep me returning. TBH, their fall line has been impressive. Don't sleep, fit is always going to be an issue, so if you want to be brolic and dapper you need to adopt the mindset that 90% of the clothes you buy will need alterations.

Yea I'm not trying to invest much now because I plan on going on a long cut very soon, I've been thinking about getting down to 190 but idk about all that, I would maybe lose a ton of muscle unless I go super slow but I feel that is the only way I will have a tight core

How come former fat people are never humble? You would think ..

Never?

What do you mean by not being humble?

I think it can go either way. Dropping weight, or actually committing to a healthy lifestyle is a major accomplishment. It is something to be proud of, so don't see nothing wrong with that.

I used to be in awesome shape, gym 5-6 days a week, sometimes two-a-days, until I hit 24, then I just fell off. Didn't really notice, stopped weighing myself at 255 and just started grinding around March of this year. I think I topped out at 260, currently sitting at 220-225, only because this Dodgers run and the MLB playoffs have kept me eating junk and drinking booze. Need to eat clean before Turkey day and the Holiday's roll around.

F Pumpkin Pie pop tarts, I want the damn pie, :lol.

What I was getting at, is, I don't have anything against fat people, but don't really have time for their excuses. Even when I was "big", and people would point it out, especially fam I would't make excuses: "I eat like **** and haven't worked out" *shrug*

As a formally VERY obese person I can say I've had my bouts with sounding and being too big headed...

For my situation: I was the chubby kid that roasted from Kindergarden all the way till I was 20... Didn't matter how well I dressed, my sneaker collection, NOTHING... I was always "That fat dude".

Once you break that mold after months and months of determination, consistency and discipline, IT GETS TO UR HEAD!!!!

I've had my ups and downs with my weight and health the past few years after changing my lifestyle but i've never come close to being a big as i used to be.

I've toned it down quite a bit since my initial break through with my weight and now I do my best to educate and encourage people rather than come at them harsh.

I'm not physically where I want to be, nor do I have a physique to brag about.... but cot damb it i've come a long way from where I once was and I'll have a good physique one of these days.

Me a few yrs ago (ripping sz 42 pants)

Last week (36 size pants now)

It's obvious he wasn't addressing EVERYONE who was formerly fat; he was only referring to LuckyLuchiano.
Infact, if I weren't out of reps, i'd rep him. cause i totally agree..

Sheesh is there a clothing company that caters to Non Betas? 6 ft + over 200 master race gets no love

I will give you my reasons:

  • A co-worker ask me for advice. I give her advice and spend 30 minutes of my life breaking things down. She then commences to eat a cheese steak and strawberry milk for lunch.
  • At least once a week people ask me what gear I'm on while I've been natural all my life. I've been bulking for 24 years.
  • Skinny or skinny fat people say I haven't seen my abs in months or a year. I tell them I never seen my abs until a few months ago.
  • Certain family members hated on me.
  • Co-workers stay hatin.
  • Even some friends and exes hate hard.
  • I met my grandfather back in 2010 and haven't seen him in almost 10 years and one of the first comments he has is about my weight and when I was going to finally loose it.

I try to stay humble but humble doesn't get respect so eff it.

On top of that being the fat kid sucks. You get teased to no end. I respect everyone who deals with a struggle and faces it head on pass or fail. But I am not going to be humble myself for the haters and BSers

I guess everything you worked hard for you should shove/brag in everyone's face every chance you get? Humble yourself former fat boy you worked on the outside try fixing what's inside, seems like that may be a harder task for you.

To my brahs that are about getting massive and not on just being healthy, dudes gotta realize Bodybuilding is one of the most vain and vanity filled activities. We dont have to lift how we lift to be healthy, the fact we take all this time to sculpt our bodies, what the heck are we trying to be humble about?LOLOLOL.

BRB getting reported by you because you're mad.

brb Dont care

brb Internet lingo and sarcasm offends betas.

in my experience, it's former fat people who have the most to criticize about people who are still fat. they become who they disliked when they were fat :{
