STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Props on getting yourself back into shape, do you still maintain the same routine? Hard as hell for me to go to the gym 4x a week and you say 6? I gotta step it up

Thanks bro! i was actually a prominent lurker of this thread at that time.. got some really good tips from here.
I'm just finishing grad school now so between that and my part time job as an EMT, i barely get to go to the gym these days (1x a week)
So to compensate, I basically just try to eat as clean as possible and do 2 miles of sprint training on my tredmill everyday as soon as i wake up (7x/week)
Sprint training helps you maintain your body (I'm like 175 now) and keep fat low without eating away all your muscle like other forms of cardio.
i graduate in december though and first thing i'm doing is copping that TRAIN INSAIYN shirt, and getting back to work.

Thats great, I just want to know what makes a person one.

Dudes coming out of the woodworks tonight haha

Im saying, If you a regular dude that plays bball with your boys at the park after school. You gonna consider yourself a basketball player?
Titles gotta be earned.
Truuuuuu thats how I feel about powerlifting, gotta get on the platform to be legit.

Bodybuilding is my hobby. If you play ball at the park bball is your hobby. Never called myself a bodybuilder in the sense that I compete or what ever dude is trying to insinuate . I stated my hobby is bodybuilding the end. If I play video games as a hobby am I not a gamer? The fact that dudes are even debating stuff as trivial as this is idiotic.

:lol @ the feels being caught in here, too much estrogen ironically. If the homie Lucky really bothers you that much, we got an ignore feature. He's a long time member of NT, one of the most active posters in this thread and atleast provides relevant content. Y'all dudes love to come out the woodwork and express that negativity whenever someone goes at him, that's not what this thread is about. He got a right to be feeling himself, he's made as much progress as anybody in here. So instead of judging him, look at your own progression and post what you think is relevant or helpful instead of throwing shade at other men.

"Testosterone and the Heart
Normal aging results in the gradual weakening of the heart, even in the absence of significant coronary artery disease. If nothing else kills the elderly male, his heart just stops beating at some point.
Testosterone is a muscle-building hormone, and there are many testosterone-receptor sites in the heart (57). The weakening of the heart muscle can sometimes be attributed to testosterone deficiency (103-108).
Testosterone is not only responsible for maintaining heart muscle protein synthesis, it is also a promoter of coronary artery dilation (109-113) and helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels (81- 114).
There are an ever-increasing number of studies indicating an association between high testosterone and low cardiovascular disease rates in men. In the majority of patients, symptoms and EKG measurements improve when low testosterone levels are corrected. One study showed that blood flow to the heart improved 68.8% in those receiving testosterone therapy. In China, doctors are successfully treating angina with testosterone therapy (9, 115, 116)."
