Stephen A. Smith Wylin

Stephen a had a great interview with Cam & Ma$e & a great interview with Bill Simmons this week. He knows Exactly what he's doing & he'd definitely doubled down on the entertainment aspect of sports. Stephen A & Skip may be the faces of the change but this is moreso about the current climate then it is them. they just saw the tide turning & got ahead of the pack

Sas and skip were on first take together over a decade ago

things are changing from that period with sports talk, hell with talk shows on the whole

you have live sports, which calls for people to actually experience live

and a crap ton of the audience have shifted to listening to podcasts, which espn hasn’t really taken advantage of as much as they could.. and has been discussed by various people who were at espn and had to explain streaming numbers and where things were/are shifting

it’s all for entertainment, inclusive of the sports themselves

even the Olympics they shifted the event schedules for television audience purposes

but sas and skip are forced debate and more in the crossfire mold where sides have to be covered even the ridiculous.. it’s more so like wrestling with it’s farce

All of it is entertainment then all of it is forced. Y'all just picking and choosing. They used to talk about LeBron in highly Questionable just as much as these other shows, Dan father used to go LeBron hate rants all the time.

Keep it a buck Stephen A and Skip just did it better and got better thats why they're the targets.

Dan is hypocritical and going after the low hanging fruit. Papi was up there for pure entertainment and likability.

People relating the layoffs to Stephen A, when it's about streaming and cable cutting.

SAS is wrong, highly questionable wasn’t a debate show.. just like PTI isn’t a debate show

debatable isn’t a debate show either

they especially aren’t faux debate shows, as first take feels most of the time.. As crossfire did when it was still around on CNN with tucker and his bow tie

^^^Cowboy pretty much admitted to quitting in that fight.

I'll admit I'm a little puzzled by that drill SAS was doing.

And if you're a legitimate and big sport, you want big names in the sports media to discuss you as it means you're trending or making big moments.

if i recall, SAS said he was recovering from shoulder injury and was limited in his movements. joked that his camera guy set him up
UFC fans hates anyone from the outside coming into their sport. was hella funny when SAS was showing up and doing stuff for espn.
it reality, he was doing them a favor bringing guys on first take and giving them the rub

Never understood why black folks care about the Kardashians. I detest that family. When I listen to urban radio stations, I’m like why does the family get mentioned?

They’ve done nothing but copy our aesthetic

Isn’t that formula. Capitalize on black culture.

I’m curious on why the youngest Kardashian Daughter the only one not dating black men? The rest date rappers or basketball stars.

But SAS wrong for that. I hope Malika put him in his place lol.
