I'm kind of surprised, I would've thought Harvey and Jessica would earn much more.
I remember something like Harvey saying, that he has a 10 000 dollar hour rate, which would be around 20 million on an annual basis, I suppose he was just joking.
The rate at which they're billing clients has nothing to do with the amount they actually earn. For example, Mike's work may be billed to a client at $150 - $500/hour, but he will earn his salary of $160,000 no matter how many hours he actually works (which is presumably anywhere from 1600 - 3000 hours at a big firm in NY).
Harvey could have been joking, or the show is just off the mark (no one bills out at $10,000 per hour). A senior partner at a firm may be billed out to a client at $500-$1000/hour, but ultimately, as a partner, they just end up profit sharing with the others in the partnership.
