I don't know how I confused the Container Store with Crate and Barrel.  

  Yes, there is a Container Store not too far from me so I'll have to make a trip out there in the near future.  How do you like the boxes so far?

HK - i love them. i even like them better than actual nike boxes to some extent. i just like how the shoes are visible and you can set them in the box upright. no collapsing. plus it's gotta help to preserve the shoes somewhat. boxes are cheap too, like $3.50 each.

Hopefully the Tailwind info helped out.  As far as the foam, it didn't really stand out to me either way.  Not hard, but not overly soft either.   When I saw the first pics, I was hoping it would feel like marshmallow midsoles with air bubbles injected within

.  So it's not as soft as, say, a Free sole, but still nice nonetheless.
