Monta is much more consistent than Tyreke and Monta with the Mavs showed he wasn't just an empty volume stats guy. At least to me. Now that he's in Indy and getting older, I am cautious on him though
I tried to tell folks last year that JJ was actually a solid defender on Harden. Not a stopper but dude knows how to play Harden tough and proved it
Think they meant JJ ReddickSomeone aware me of JJ Barea being a Harden stopper...
Yes, that will be lethal a offense with those two running. Hill is gonna be getting open 3s.I think Monta is going to shine in Indy. He's going to be the de-facto PG...with Hill playing off the ball.
Monta and PG13 running P&R should be lethal.
their coach is all talkClips
Top 5PG,SG,PF,C and coach and still can't advance past the 2nd round

Leery of Beal making the leap this year. The biggest thing he has to change is his free throw rate and historically, that doesn't change with players, especially after 3 years in the league. But he is still very young and has shown some promise in the postseason so we'll see. This HAS to be Beal's year to make that "leap." We all saw what he did in the playoffs. He was on another level on both offense and defense. Crazy to think that until the team drafted Kelly Oubre, he was the youngest on the squad. Dude just turned 22...has a year of college under his belt, and will now be a 4th year pro. Upside is through the roof. If the Wizards are serious about playing ball more like what we saw in the playoffs, there is no reason for him not to continue his great play. This is exactly why I believe he should be no lower than #5 on that list at season's end...maybe even #3. Sky is the limit for this dude.
Beal's numbers just scream inconstancy. Like he's a career 40% 3pt shooter on a high volume, but shoots 78% from the line...and doesn't get there much.
I really do believe that he's figured it out, and those long 2's will turn to either 3's or finishes at the rims, floaters, foul shots and elbow jumpers.
His handle has improved a ton since he's got in the league too.
I'm sorry...idc about lack of playoff history, vet leadership, etc. I'm not taking dudes like Danny green, Korver, Reddick over Oladipo if I had to choose a starting 2.
Who you would choose is not the same question as the top ten two guards in the league.I'm sorry...idc about lack of playoff history, vet leadership, etc. I'm not taking dudes like Danny green, Korver, Reddick over Oladipo if I had to choose a starting 2.
oladipo should be in the top 10 already and hes ready for top 5 this season. him and vucevic will make them a sneaky eastern conference team.Taking into account stats, skills and health:
1. Harden
2. Butler
3. Thompson
4. Wade
5. Matthews (tricky because of the Achilles injury)![]()
6. DeRozan
7. Green
8. Korver
9. Redick
10. Beal
Kobe is also playing SF this season.
