That doesn't even include Conley Lamarcus and Lillard its gonna be hard for guys like Hayward to breakout

In all seriousness though, I like the roster the Knicks put together this season, considering they didn't have a ton of flexibility and resources to make moves. If Melo has a good year and they stay healthy, I could see them competing for a 4-5 seed in the East.

Why not?

All of them shoot above 44% from 3 and defend their positions.

Vic has more potential and raw ability....but right now, those guys are just better NBA players due to experience, shooting and defense.

I value someone with a full range of ability over specialists. None of those dudes have ever been counted to be the all around player that Oladipo is.

I think there is a higher chance they compete for a 4-5 pick in the draft (which of course will be re-routed to Toronto) than a 4-5 seed in the East.

I'll be mad if he doesn't make it. Dudes like LeBron, Kobe, Duncan, should make the all star game every year until they retire. I love seeing legends play with/against each other. See kobe throwing lobs to Duncan and Duncan laying it in because he's on the verge of death.

This team has no future if they keep wining 35-40 games and making the playoffs. They run cute little offensive sets, and have a good young coach....but they're best player is Isiah Thomas....and best prospect is Marcus Smart or Kelly Olynick

4 seed might be a stretch, i'd say the 6 seed is a reasonable goal coming off the worst season in franchise history.

Except they still have the rights to Brooklyn's unprotected picks for the next 3 years, plus Dallas' top 7 protected pick. They can either roll the dice in the draft and try to hit on a star or package some of their young assets/picks if a star becomes available. They're in a similar position Houston was in before the Harden trade.
