If tyus leaves with his boys then that's fine, especially if we get number 5. He's projected late teens-early 20's, next draft is weak so coming back has perks also.
Thornton will have the choice to come early if tyus bounces.

Geno (speaking as a fan) said the men's game is a joke. I do agree that things can be done to increase offensive output, namely getting rid of that 35 sec clock, but Geno may have run out. No one is surprised that his team is beating teams by 50 this close to a championship but the men's game is a joke. Dude is crazy.
I know it's wishful thinking (on my part) that Tyus is coming back, but saying he's supposed to be the number 1 point taken is news to me. All I've been hearing is Muiday and Russell. Something changed with that?

should've said true point guard. Russell and muiday are both combo guards to most scouts. Plus with muiday's injury he's looking as a dark horse. It all depends on his combine results now.

How much is a non-freak athlete guard without great size really going to improve his stock next year? I keep seeing that, but in actuality I don't see the truth in it regardless a "weak draft". That's just an extra year to nitpick at his faults.

There's no chance Tyus returns to Durham. Jones, Jah, Winslow: All gone to the NBA.
FTR, Ennis shouldn't have went as high as #18. Phoenix was afraid Toronto would snipe him at #20, hence the slight reach.
Oubre is well behind Justise, and probably Stan too.
Love Trimble's game. Composed, calm ball-handler. UMD wilted against West Virginia's press without him. Gets to the line often and shoots FT well.
I still want my credit for calling Jordan Clarkson and showing mad love prior to the season. Y'all didn't believe me.

Saw your amendment mentioning Russell and Mudiay, but I still disagree. I personally wouldn't select Tyus over Delon Wright or Cam Payne.
Agents are presenting to his family in Memphis and he's good as gone to the NBA. Rates as a better prospect than Isaiah Canaan, far more well-rounded. Got better as a shooter this season and Murray State was the second biggest tourney snub after Temple.
Jackson didn't get hot until like late-January. Another year at Chapel Hill would do him good. There was no way he was jumping Winslow, Stan, or Oubre with the slow start.
I know Brice is making a conscious effort to improve his defense, but he'd be food against opposing bigs in the league. I do appreciate his work on the offensive glass. Seems Johnson is always in the right place for an easy put-back two.
RHJ: I appreciate your defensive tenacity, homie. Dog on the perimeter, relentless on the ball. Showed some unexpected vision and passing in the tourney. Jumper is broke as hell, but anywhere in the 20's is fair for Hollis-Jefferson. Immediate defensive specialist on a second unit.
