2014 kentucky team was a preseason top 5 iirc
to say they shouldn't have made it isn't true because they always had the talent
that was a helluva run though

Brah, I don't care about all that preseason hype, I look at the product throughout the entire season.

They were an 8 seed in the tourney and nobody had high expectations, deservedly so. They most certainly overachieved.

Yes, and your point is?

You realize preseason rankings are based on speculation and hypotheticals right? That's what you would rather base expectations off of, as opposed to using actual games played?

That 2013-2014 was not an elite Kentucky team and have to give credit to Cal for getting them to the championship game.

uk overachieved that year but you're making it seem like they were a cinderella team or something

That's the problem with blue bloods - everybody expects Final 4 or bust.

Nobody expected that Kentucky team to get past the round of 32 and for them to run through the teams they did: Wichita State, Louisville, Michigan, Wisconsin - that's a cinderella run to me.

Their season wasn't that bad, they just couldn't beat Florida. The Gators stopped them from winning the SEC regular season and SEC tournament

I remember lots of people picking UK over Wichita man
not many people believed in Wichita that year
dude is creating his own narratives lol
plus UK was never that bad to be a 8 seed
should've been like a 5

Edmond Sumner to the draft. Hope he does well after a long rehab process. He deserves it after the bad luck he had this year.

Dude, you're the only one who keeps mentioning that narrative. It's old and dead, stop trying to drum up convo on it and bait people.

He's a better recruiter and salesman than he is an X's and O's guy but he's also a damn good coach. Case closed.

Nah. I still see it plenty, maybe not one here. but look at Cowherd.

Plenty people don't respect Cal and Roy WIlliams like they should. :lol
