Wouldn't Lee to UK prolly mean Randle is going somewhere else?

He really wants to compete with Lee, Wiltjer and Cauley (I actually think Cauley might be good enough to bounce this year though) but still that's a lot of log jam in the front court.

@ Stokes being up to 275.

Supposedly Titus Rubles has looked great for UC. JUCO transfer that should make an immediate impact at that face up 4 position. And of cross Sean Kilpatrick isn't missing many shots at all from what I heard. Probably the highest expectations for a Cincy team since 2002 when we blew that game to UCLA in the 2nd round of the NCAA.

I'd still be slightly surprised if Rysheed leaves North Philly. Temple is literally a 5 minute walk from his home. He's been in that Under Armour pipeline for a while now, too.
Does anyone have practice reports? (and not from Jon Rothstein - I swear he just sits around and makes stuff up.)
Uconn beat writer said Omar Calhoun looks like the best player on the roster.

he was at cuse practice and his comparisons and analysis were the most outrageous and laughable thing i ever heard, even as a cuse fan i was like what's this dude smoking

I can only comment on Pitt practice and I have to say the fact that they're were picked 6th in the big east by the coaches just shows how a lot of people don't understand how good this team is going to be. Which I understand.

I think they will finish second or third in the Big East easily. Too much talent this year and depth not to. This team is very good.

Starting 5

Tray Woodall- Totally healthy. His jumper is deadeye.

Trey Ziegler- Not a good shooter, but a gamer and will take 3's when he's feeling it. Incredible finisher with contact.

Lamar Patterson- Most important player on the team I think. Can handle it well, dribbles with his head up and probably is the best passer on the team. He should have a nice 15-6-5 type year. Really impresse with him.

Talib Zanna- Improved a lot from playing against Steve Adams and has learned how to actually finish this year. He has a unique offensive game and should benefit greatly from playing next to Steve.

Steven Adams- Runs like a deer, never seems to be tired, a legit 6-11' or 7 feet. He really is springy off his feet. Can knock down 15 foot jumper all day, but not sure how often he will be shooting those. Dixon doesn't normally play through freshman, but Steve is too good not to get touches. I would expect 8ppg and 10 boards from him. He is a little bit of a hack though, he'll have to watch his foul trouble.

James Robinson- Already looks like he played a season in the BE. Good defender, very smart and will be a great backup for Tray Woodall.

JJ Moore and Durand Johnson both have a ton of talent and played well in summer leagues. If either steps up to their abilities, then they could push this team over the top.

I'm not just blowing smoke, this team is deep, talented, and a lot of the guys want to go out and prove their not idiots like that team last year.  I think it is the easily the most talent Dixon has ever had so now let's see how he coaches it.

They will be a lot better. Just asking a lot out of Adams. I'd still play JJ Moore more, but that's just me.
Maybe a little optimistic with those numbers, but he'll be really solid. I love how he plays for this team.

And JJ More will get a lot of time. First forward off the bench. He might even play some 4 when Steve gets in foul trouble and move Zanna to the 5.

Marcus Lee to UK is official....no shock there but does anyone else feel like that's a bad move for him?

They'll have plenty of room. Even if only Nerlens, Archie and Poythress leave they'd still have 4 open spots.

Jim Beoheim didn’t hold back when talking about Rick Pitino this morning at Big East media day. When asked about Pitino saying Temple and Memphis are adequate replacements for Syracuse in the conference, the Orange head coach said, “Rick’s full of **** if that’s what he really said.”
Boeheim added, “The only thing I’ll say about what Rick said all summer is that if Louisville could have left they would have left. Everybody knows it and I’m really tired of him saying what Syracuse should be or should have done because they would have left in a heartbeat. Everybody knows it.”

Peyton Siva as BE POY? One of the worst I've heard in a while, i guess it was by default but still funny.

Dude was 180th in assist to turnover/ratio.
