The Combat Jack Show Thread

I look at them tweets the same way I look at a comedian's stand-up. Jokes can be offensive and you pick and choose what you decide is offensive and stand by it.

But they spent way too much time on this LeBron A&R 2 Chainz album. They sound like they a bit jealous of Bron and his involvement or something. Not saying they are but they sound bitter

Ehhhhh, As a Laker fan I can speak on this. You can't keep talking about the team and players commitment when you don't seem committed.

I noticed when the season started Lebron wasn't as diesel as he used to be.

The 2 Chainz studio thing and then not playing the next night.

But Mal is a bandwagon sports fan. Dude likes the Patriots fan at 37 years old from New York. He'll be getting a new NBA team in a few years.

I can understand the studio then skipping the game and how that looks bad, but I don't think THIS PODCAST has the guys necessary to really make that point. Mal ain't the guy, and Joe and Rory sure ain't the guys either. They spent too much time on it

And their conversation Solange album release reminded me of why I liked this podcast. They gotta start talkin' music more than the gossip

I mentioned why I believe it's fake outrage . Like I said, before this era we're in now, Twitter was a warzone for ****** saying wildly offensive and dumb ****. The fake outrage lives in the fact that many of those who are mad were doing the same ****. Of course some are legitimately mad but many had no problems when this type of joking and banter was going on on Twitter because if they did, it wouldn't have been taking place as much as it was as back and forth as it was.

At no point did I say that I didn't care or find the joke distasteful. At the end of the day to me, it's a joke. Now if he legitimately hates black women, I would have an issue. But to me it was a distatsteful, bad joke

It's not just twitter.

Mal has said a number of questionable things on the show, maybe not negatively about black women but caping for non-black women. Like his comments about homeboy for the Chargers.

People always say. We're men, we can't say what women are going to do. I stop listening to watching plenty of things once I'm offended.

How do you know?

I already explained that

but to add what i said I know women who go

boys can joke on me for knowing

but just know if your girl goes to sh*t like that she’s not your girl

Mal has definitely said some questionable things on the pod that made me shake my head.

At the same time, part of me is just tired of people looking for a reason to cancel everything that's popular today. Not really a fan of the black women vs black men narrative either.

Twitter was definitely the wild west back then. Before everyone realized that those tweets would be there forever.

I've listened since the beginning I'm not listening again. People have no accountability these days. Views and listens = revenue, all the people who "say" they are offended stop listening the tune changes immediately.

How you let two cornballs disgrace your women and you still support that is beyond me.
I respect that, as no one else has mentioned that they were actually willing to take that stand in here. In no way was I speaking about how women should feel about this, women seem to be legitimately upset as they should. I'm only speaking to the people in this thread calling it out yet they will continue to support and put money in their pockets anyway regardless.

I can't count the amount of times I've read people bashing hosts/artists/celebrities but continue to check for them every single time on here(ex. people tuning in to the NFL every Sunday claiming to side with Kaepernick).

Yeah the gossip is killing it for me, love when they discuss ideas/music/clown each other instead.

I never watched reality shows or care to find out who Jordan Woods is.

who didn’t see that joke coming smh

sh*t I’ve seen on those older hbo real sex type shows plus I’ve heard certain dudes who stripped (pause) tell stories

mainly patrice oneals friend dante nero who has a pod i listen to

NY public access late night used to have Male strip club footage and it was more t&a than anything. It was like porn, top, eating the box, full on sex, ******* out all that. Why I look at a chick side eye when they start talking bout Male strip clubs now.

boys really have no idea

I used to help set up bachelor parties for my friend who had women stripping and selling a*s, travelled all over houston

other married women would be there getting ran thru and weren’t even part of the show

I’ve seen men and women having sex with multiple people the night before the wedding

just look at how certain chicks act when they rush the stage at a concert

if my lady does that I’m out

these are the women who are saying men don’t respect them

this is beat king from houston

I was just talking bout him on my show and this is not even close to how wild it gets

:smh: thats why u need a geek in the streets
and a freak in the sheets
no way
my woman be doing some **** like that
though i know stories about before we was together
