The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

He said he had a plantar fascia problem.

. Having said that...he could've targeted his legs, stomped his foot lol.

I feel like TJ has a good shot of winning the rematch.

Finally caught up to UFC 200 and the Dos Anjos/Alvarez Fight Night.

Miesha got lit up. That division is getting backed up like MW thanks to the weird UFC matchmaking.

Brock has great take downs. But he definitely gassed.

Anderson was a champ. There was no way he was going to win with fighting a much larger opponent, a wrestler, taking the fight on ridiculous short notice and having surgery. DC did what he had to do but it probably didn't help win new MMA fans.

And RDA looked like a boss up until he caught that fade. Kudos to Eddie. Cowboy probably like...hmm...maybe I can win that belt now lol.

Watching rda and Ferguson getting lit up days apart really puts things into perspective. Everything is so fragile

cruz talkin about he want to make fun fights....

none of his fights are fun.

I could def see him running away from aldo for 5 rounds.

But then again, I just want to see cruz get punched in the face so...I'd watch it lol
As a true MMA fan, idk how you can find Cruz boring.

Hes one of the most skilled defensive specialist this sport has ever seen. Not every fight needs to be a knockout. Leave that to the heavyweights. I appreciate the technique and footwork. Cruz is an all time p4p GOAT

thats why every LW fight is a must see because the division is so volatile. 155 is the weight class for the average joe.

just finished last nights event. that was an awesome card.

that vannata dude is tough as ****. very impressed with his performance. i want to learn more about his martial arts background. dude has an awkward style. i presume some kind of TMA background.

For this fight he was training at Jacksons. I'm not too sure if he's been with them his entire career

He got way too confident, it was sad to see. His head movement started to fail him.. he really had Ferguson, Ferguson's now been involved in two straight brutal matches

I have a feeling Ferguson won't be Dana's first choice in fighting Eddie. Lots of moving pieces between Khabib, Ferguson and Conor

The reason I think why Aldo hasn't been throwing his leg kicks is because he had to fight Frankie twice and Mendes where they have really good takedowns and he didn't want to be put on the matt.

He also didn't attempt a leg kick against Conor was because he got KO'ed in 13 seconds

If im correct, i think Cruz is the best wrestler in mma statistically outta all 3. Also even before that in all of his recent fights he threw very minimal kicks. Not since Faber can i remember more than a few kicks being thrown, not to mention the guy has to have his leg planted for a second to land it, Cruz moves way too much

I agree, one of my fave fighters. Ppl dont like what they don't understand. Cats can't keep up with his style. His warmup for a fight, ive heard its like an hour and half long lol shows how serious he takes things

I like cruz. His breakdancing / capoeira movement is interesting to watch. The way he dodges strikes in a diagonal position is really unique. Wonder if aldo would have the speed advantage over him. Frankie is fast as well but always a step behind aldo.

Cruz does have good wrestling but I don't think he's explosive enough to take Aldo down. Aldo's TDD is unreal but yeah should be an interesting fight if they do.

Aldo is so much more explosive and faster than tj. And tj started landing leg kicks as soon as be actually tried to

So what happens to Brock's pay? Can he get fined all of his PPV points and a significant portion of his purse?
