My bad. I didn't see the post. I've only watched the fight once. I'd probably have given it to Islam. It was a close fight though. They both showed they were capable in each other's specialization. Dagestani's usually dominate in wrestling. And Volk normally dominates in stand up.

20 years doing commentary and Joe Rogan still doesn't seem to understand how an MMA fight is actually scored using the 10-point must system.

I had Islam clearly winning a decision in the Volk bout but yes it was close. MMA/UFC judging in its current format is buns, really dislike the 10 point must system and wish they would go to the Pride scoring of scoring a fight as a whole. Doubt this happens anytime soon though.
