I'm not disappointed....

Because I expected this to be wack.

Timbo's new vibe and Jay's new vibe just don't mesh.

Jay need to holla at Pete Rock and 'em going forward. Pull out the horns & strings and fall back off this techno s_.

In the larger scope of things, this could be the "Jigga that _" of BP3. Skip sometimes, let it rock other times.

Its a cool party joint, just not my twist.

Maybe it'll grow on me....but the next leak needs to be a vintage heatrock.

Maybe I'm wildin, but something seems weird about Jay-Z's damn near 40 year old self rapping over this beat. Like i can't see old heads orsomebody within his age range bumpin this, ever.

Not saying the song is bad, but it just seems like maybe he's trying to hard.

I didn't want timbo anywhere near this album. Off That is an example why.

I will say, I haven't heard Jay this energized on a track in a while.

I was feeling good about this album after doa, but run this town and off that has killed my excitement for BP3.

flow is on point and so are the lyrics, but i still DON'T like the song. Could have been much better but i still have high expectations for BP3

Didn't wanna make a whole new post to say this so I figure it's somewhat relevant here

but I usually don't pay any mind to posts/comments about how everybody wants Jay and Nas to only work with Primo and Pete Rock,
always thought "Hey I'd love it too but we don't control their choices"

then I heard the Red Cafe/Pete Rock joint "Heart and Soul of NY" or whatever it's called the other day
and was like
"Damm...Jay and/or Nas needed to be on that"

Would you prefer me to say that the track is wack G?? Again, the track isn't great, but it's far from wack, it's a solid track.

So, I was thinking, Jay said that this album would be influenced by the music his parents/he grew up listening to and instrumentation. *@$ were his parentslistening to? They had to be literally from the future then. Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson weren't singing over this ...
