TT was not changing this series
as you mentioned, they couldn't shoot
TT just played hard but Denver is simply just too good

A 32 year old journeyman power forward with no offensive skills and who was unemployed for a year before this April was going to save the Lakers season against the best big man in the NBA. Might be the wildest thing said in here yet about the Lakers-Nuggets series. LMFAO.
 
Stability, finally.

Dudes were so mad about Leon and his lack of communication with the media. Nothing good comes of it & they had nothing to say really. There’s a plan in place and its going working out pretty well this far.

All they wanted was to point & laugh at the Kemba/Evan [exCeltics, shoulda known] mistakes. And fire Thibs after every loss so as to throw a wrench in said plan.

We don’t fall for the tricks in 2023.

You don't know bro. The PROOF is in the pudding. When TT played, he gave the Lakers what they needed. You saw it wirh your own two eyes.

And when TT was not in the game, Denver dominated the Lakers in every facet.

We not asking him to play 20 min. All we needed was Javale/Dwight type minutes to make that difference in each game. And each game was close.

But of course, you probably think impact bigs dont make a difference in winning championships so no point in debating further.

NT was witness last night as to why it was imperative for LAL to have TT in the lineup playing next to AD and as a back up to AD. Y'all saw it first hand - Lakers needed to Go Big against the Nuggets and Ham failed big time.

I saw TT's impact before the series even started and Darvin didn't, hence the sweep. :lol:

Y’all STILL aren’t grasping how good Jokic is :lol: This is not 2020 anymore.

The answer to slowing Jokic was not on the roster. Lakers only hope was trying to outscore them like Phoenix did. To that point, Ham’s biggest mistake was waiting until G4 to give Vando a DNP-CD.

Was he "undersized and old" when he played impact basketball last night?

People continue to miss the point.

TT ain't there to stop Joker. Nobody can.

But he's there cause he would make things a little tougher on Joker, TT is there cause he takes up space in the paint. He's there for rebounding, he's there cause he has championship experience, etc etc.

Denver figured out Rui on Joker after game 1. The Lakers should've countered with giving TT more minutes cause a combo of AD, TT, and Rui on Joker throughout the game is much better than just AD and Rui on Joker.

The minutes he played they weren’t negative or positive in the box score. He grabbed 1 rebound in 10 minutes. And as soon as they put him in actions, it got tough.

Impact bigs do make a difference. He just ain’t one of them.

You keep bringing up the clippers like their 2 best players are ever healthy. Be for real.

So Denver is talented out enough to “figure out” Rui after G1 but they would have trouble with a guy who hadn’t played basketball in 13 months
