The Russ trade gave them 3 rotational NBA players instead of just one.

One of the major problems they had all year was not having enough guys that are actual NBA players.

Kyrie’s last two seasons have been so filled with extra-curricular shenanigans that it made people forget that, along with everything else, he misses a lot of games due to injuries.

The difference in analysis between the NFL and NBA is night and day though. The NFL media does a great job hyping up talent and breaking down plays on shows and even the commentators in game. With the NBA it’s all about narratives and emotions. If the super bowl was covered like the NBA, you don’t see analysts saying stuff like “Jalen Hurts doesn’t have the clutch gene!!!”

What NFL do y’all watch, man? Same analysts that spent weeks asking was Mahomes still the best QB in the league as he was en route to putting up his best numbers of his career. The NFL has pockets of good analysis but they rock with the narratives heavy. Hell, ESPN JUST got NFL Live back to being watchable this year with Mina Kimes being pushed

Most NBA commentary acts like game is a drama show with which team can will themselves to victory.

Romo basically got pulled aside by the network and told that he was doing a **** job. I think we’re romanticizing the NFL’s coverage a bit. They really don’t have THAT many good analysts either
