 Well will you tell me so I can quit wondering why he would match it up with red and black?! 

The only way I can interpret it is in a "nobody would wear a Vick Falcon jersey" sorta way .....but this is NT, home of the hottest denim (sarcasm) and people wearing their laces like a bowl of spaghetti was dumped on their kicks.  Fashion jokes are hard for me to interpret lmao
