So then you need to admit this a wasted season by Embiid. Embiid doesn’t feel some type of way? Putting up historical numbers but the organization isn’t doing anything to get him to the next level.
Actually no, first time we are seeing extended run of a 4 out with Embiid and this dude is avg 34/10/5 on 54/41/82 splits

You get to then open up to more players, hence Morey saying we’ll take a top 40 player now instead of trying to a square peg in a round hole

You can’t control what happens in the off-season. You hold off a full year for Dame or Harden then Embiids body breaks down in 2023. Sixers fans gonna blame Ben for that too?

Is Wall really an upgrade over Russ?

No. Quite comical that it's even a question. Wall ain't played in almost 2 years. Lakers have to optimize whatever they want Russ to do somehow to get this thing turned around. Ain't no help coming from the outside. Oh and AD needs to grow a pair when he gets back.

Probably will be an unfortunate consequence of the whole thing for other players but better believe the Ben saga is definitely gonna get addressed in the next CBA negotiations given the way they've gone about it.

Owners have most likely already been fed up with all the player power and freedom of movement in the league before but that definitely feels like a straw breaking the camels back kind of moment in terms of providing the momentum needed to start chipping away at that player power.

Even if Ben decided to play tomorrow And shows up to every practice. You know damn well Doc won’t play him for like 10 games minimum.

Rich Paul handled this situation worse than Ben. He’s the point of contact here.

If true, that’s the sad part about this. Of all players to **** them, Ben f’n Simmons ruining it for everyone

If Ben would have showed up to play from the start or at least tried to showcase himself, he's likely already at his next stop while also Sixers getting adequate compensation for them.

Ben doesn’t want to show off his new jump shot yet. He’s waiting to break out the new Ben on his new team.

Well yea he needs to get into basketball shape lol but even then, an out of shape Simmo is better than playing Charlie Brown Jr

Anyway I’m ready to change the topic. Thats enough Ben Simmons talk until the trade deadline.

I hope they fire Morey and Ben gets every dollar he lost back one day.

He had 4 years on his deal left, getting traded because you ask was never a guarantee nor should have it have been
Yea and that's Philly's problem. Ben apparently doesn't care about money or basketball and has severed ties with the org. Sixers could've fixed this a long time ago

He'd have had a better market if he hadn't helped kill off his own value though. His team/reps too
The sixers killed his value too. He's been the same player or worse since his first season so it's pointless for Philly to think his market would increase. Their asking price is too high, simple as that. You're asking $75,000 for a 95 Tahoe and then blaming the car for not being sold. Makes no sense

Is it? It shouldn't be. Someone wins player of the week the first 2 weeks of the season doesn't mean people should start talking about MVP awards

I just don't remember that being the case is all this season. The vast majority of pundit/media/NTer crowned him after 20 games.
