But Russ also has to know that getting into shouting matches with folks on the sidelines for their words will do nothing but make people do it even more. Damned if you do, Damned if you don't.
BUt we are human, so I can't REALLY say what he should/shouldn't do.
But I would like to see a fan get knocked out and held accountable for their actions.
Russ keep using that 'bigger than basketball' and family talk as an easy out... big baby *** ***** just butthurt on getting called out for being trash stop with the deflection
The whole situation is weird to me. EYE am not justifying the threats but he's not the first player or public figure to be criticized with stupid names like "Westbrick" or be ridiculed by talking heads. He's on a team with LeBron James who had his jersey burned in the streets, the owner writing a spiteful public letter in Comic Sans to him and all NBA fans hating him for going to Miami. He has one of the best people in the world to talk to about how to deal with this very specific problem. I am not sure addressing it through Twitter or postgame pressers is the most effective course of action.
Lumping the death threats in with "Westbrick" name calling, fans booing and talking heads talking really muddys the waters.
