That’s fair but the timing again is suspect. All the team has to do is the prove they offered mental support and the support was denied
Naw b, you go get that second opinion by *cough* Klutch *cough* doctors, they tell Morey and ownership Ben is not mentally stable to play, and his back injury is serious. Boom, Ben's account got them extra 000000s.

Klay is not a total lock down stopper.

it's the versatility that makes him valuable,
he's very good at guarding 1-4, which him more valuable than a guy who might be better than him at guarding just guards, or just wings.

He's at worst a solid defender, an all-time 3 point shooter, and can playmake in his own right, and has been consistent unlike some on the list. He's most definitely top 75, especially if you consider that the Warriors aren't real contenders without him(w/o Durant).

He cannot playmake
has only made all nba 2x
He's a good defender but overrated.

On a basketball level, he doesn't playmake, doesn't rebound despite his size, doesn't get to the FT line at all, almost league average TS% despite being an insanely good shooter, he's not THAT

His value to GSW has very little bearing on his place in the NBA's top 75. His resume is incredibly light. He's only played 8 years.

Playmaking is more than assists. Especially on that team. Iggy pushing the break and Klay runs to the corner, you concede the dunk. Split action the defense tilts.

Where has the NBA socials been hiding her

I've never in my life wanted to be a leather sofa... until now.

He was a potential candidate for the some form of all-defense team for most of his career, he could guard 1-4 effectively which can absolutely disrupt a team's offense, and he can definitely put the ball in the paint if he chooses to. Klay should get in based on his impact on the court alone, and that's not even accounting for his off-ball movement.

Point taken, and that is true. Steph's the same way in that regard. However, that form of playmaking is not nearly enough to classify Klay as an above average playmaker, let alone a reason for why Klay should be top 75

1. There ain’t no back injury suffered while with the team. He barely did anything and had to take a full physical when showing up
2. We know this ***** ain’t mentally stable, but his actions and words are 100% contradictory. Again no one forced him to return from his holdout. Once word came out that he wasn’t getting his 8 mil check, Shams conveniently leaked he might show back up. He came on his own during the middle of a game. No one knew.

If you mentally aren’t ready to join the team, why come back in the first place. That’s the one question he’s been avoiding. And that’s the one thing ppl conveniently as forgetting to slander Philly

If Reggie is on there Klay is. Steph changed the game but Klay needs his flowers too. He has that same green light Klay does, he just doesn’t dribble.

Reggie shouldn't be on there

This is the problem w/Reggie being on there. It opens the flood gates.

Dwight Howard not on there. There are players w/far more compelling cases than Reggie Miller and Klay Thompson.

Hell yeah, off-ball movement, drawing defenders, being a constant threat to put up double-digits without a single dribble, switching to FOUR positions on defense to "hide" Curry, taking on the opposing team's superstars that Green can't keep up with, interrupting passing lanes, consistently staying in front of opponents to limit penatration, active hands, superb shooter from anywhere in the court. He is absolutely pivotal to in any game he's involved in.

lol yall think Kyrie couldn't match the likes of this dude or do "moves" without carrying.

and what were those moves worth?

Pete Maravich wasn't like some widely effective player.
his teams sucked and he was inefficient even for the standards of his day.

fancy dribble moves were just not that valuable, especially since you couldn't palm the balm.

Funny HoS exclusive, here. A packet of documents was leaked to me, along with confirmation that top ESPN NBA newsbreaker Adrian Wojnarowski sends them to agents and NBA team employees, as part of a personal campaign. The PowerPoint slides contain a thorough social media analysis with a myriad of metrics designed to index Wojnarowski’s power against his peers, including his ESPN colleagues. The documents include claims like, “he is the undisputed top NBA media talent in the business,” and “His combined reach of 7.0M followers across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook is more than every other NBA media personality from the below comp set.”

These packets have been sent out to potential sources, presumably to argue why one should leak news to Wojnarowski versus sending news to his rivals. Though the packets feature the ESPN logo on each slide, suggesting ESPN documents, my sources tell me that ESPN did not create Wojnarowski's self-aggrandizing dossier. Beyond that, ESPN had no knowledge of Wojnarowski sending out these documents that imply the company’s imprimatur. Note the ESPN insignia in the upper right hand corner of the slide featured below.
