At this point we gotta ask ourselves…. Was the bubble an outlier for the Lakers? Brons first year they miss the playoffs, year two win a chip in the bubble, year 3 go out in the first round of the playoffs, this year they are heading towards a fire sale at the trade deadline.

Without the bubble AD ain’t healthy and Lakers don’t win the mickey mouse ring

Year 1 injuries to Bron and all of the kids
Year 2 everybody stayed relatively healthy
Year 3 significant injuries to Bron and AD
This season, Bron already missed time as well as other guys to start the season.

After being an Ironman for pretty much the entirety of his career, father time has caught up to Bron and he's having more old man injuries. The entire team is built around him and by him to a large extent and when he's not in there it looks less than optimal. They've still only played 7.5 games together with him, AD and Russ this season. They got time to figure it out. The rest of the west is mediocre outside of GS & PHX who actually haven't played a murder's row either.

Could be as simple as that.

That 7 month break saved AD and Bron. No cap. There's no debate to contrary at all. If for nothing else.. asterisks out the ***.

PG fumbled the ball and had a step back :lol
