I don't think t2i uses CF cards. As for a SDHC card, definitely has to been ultra. The upload speed comes in handy when you have hundreds of RAW pictures.

ayo, anybody know how mayn pics a beginning level DSLR can take? without the memory card, because I know you'll have to pay separately.

how much do the cards cost?

the lower level cameras, you can snap a certain amount of pics...without the memory card, the card just adds more.....i thought the DSLR was the same way, didnt know you couldn't take none at all without a memory card....interesting.

Alright fellas, help me out.

Gf wants a Canon SLR for X-mas.

Not trying to break the bank since this is just a side hobby and she's a beginner and all.

Any recommendations on what to buy, where? (costco)?
