Amazon has price matched everything Gamestop is discounting.
I'm about to cop the PS Move sharp shooter.

By some paint and do a custom paint job on it.

Neversoft Developing a Multiplayer First-Person Shooter
neversoft-feature.jpg

That’s right, developer Neversoft – the team who worked on Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk – is currently developing a first-person shooter for Activision.

This tidbit of info was spotted on Neversoft’s hiring page, where the company lists positions including a Windows PC Platform Lead Engineer: FPS, a Studio Art Director, Sr. Technical Artist: FPS, Sr. Level Designer: FPS, Senior Environment Artist: FPS, and several others, many of which bear the ‘FPS’ tag in the title.

It does seem a bit odd for Neversoft to be moving in this direction, but considering they’ve jumped from skateboarding titles to music-rhythm games in the past, first-person shooters aren’t all that farfetched. Plus, Activision has this “mildly popularâ€

Man come on Sony show SD some damn love

You guys got a ton of Sony offices here in SD. I know for a fact that game testing for a bunch of their 1st party games is done down here in SD and the location is literally 15 minutes away from my house. Sony San Diego Studios makes MLB The Show games each year. Twisted Metal & David Jaffe are also down here in SD.

We have a few amc theaters with IMAX.

Battlefield 3 expansions to arrive one week earlier on PS3
batt3_530x330.jpg

Not Microsoft and Activision's agreement to give Xbox early access to Call of Duty DLC, Sony and EA have arranged for Battlefield 3 expansions to arrive with an exclusive lead on PlayStation 3. However, Battlefield 3's expansions will stay exclusive to the PS3 for a shorter period: one week per expansion.

The deal kicks off with "Back to Karkand," which launches "later this year" and brings with it four Battlefield 2 maps (including Wake Island) rebuilt in the Frostbite 2.0 engine. The expansion comes free with first-run copies of Battlefield 3 for all platforms, though it now seems it won't be available for download immediately.

The Battlefield 3 beta opens on PC (check the system requirements), PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 29.

Sony cough up a lot of benjamins, for a week?

I hope they mean for those who didn't pre-order the Battlefield 3 Limited Edition.

I have the Sharpshooter... it works great and all, but there aren't really any games out there that support it. I just wish that it had a Right Analog Stick integrated onto it and that more mainstream FPS franchises support it down the road. Killzone/SOCOM/Resistance just ain't cutting it.

It's now just gathering dust at home.

On another note, I'd gladly purchase another Move wand/Motion Controller if Fight Night eventually supports Move, though.
