Persona is a RPG/School Sim

Persona 5 is a role-playing video game developed by Atlus for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Persona 5 is chronologically the sixth installment in the Persona series, which is part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. Published by Atlus in Japan and North America and Deep Silver in PAL territories, the game was released in Japan in September 2016, and will be released in North America and Europe in April 2017. Unlike earlier games in the series, Persona 5 does not include the Shin Megami Tensei moniker.

Persona 5 takes place in Tokyo, and follows a silent protagonist after their transfer to the fictional Shujin High School after being put on probation for assault on a stalker. During the course of a school year, he and other students awaken to their Persona powers, become masked vigilantes dubbed the "Phantom Thieves of Hearts", and explore the supernatural Palace realm to steal ill intent from the hearts of adults. As with previous titles in the series, the party does battle with supernatural enemies using manifestations of their psyche called Personas. The game incorporates role-playing elements and dungeon exploration alongside social simulation scenarios.

^ yeah currently I play Skyrim/fallout/jc3..I played select FF titles for years..I enjoy grinding aspects of games..but from what I'm reading on gaming boards/Reddit etc..ppl really love persona..maybe I should give it a go..I still have my PS3 as well

Its not like Skyrim or Fallout with the go anywhere/do anything. If you like RPGs, you'll love it. Persona 3 and 4 are up on the PSN store for the PS3 if you wanna try them. Sadly Persona 4 isn't the Golden edition that they made for the Vita.

I was just thinking about finishing my second run so I can be ready for the DLC. Let me know when you are on. I'll use my OP character to help you. :lol:

I can also give you all the gear in the game, as well as 99 of every soul if you so desire...

While I'm here, the new trailer has me wanting to play even more. :lol:

I think the biggest problems with these sales are that they never discount the DLC by itself. I already own The Evil Within but not the DLC. I don't want to purchase the Complete Edition, I just want the DLC separately.

Have you guys ever played Lunar Silver Star Harmony or Trails in the Sky? They're both PSP titles that I've been eyeing for a while and they just happen to be on sale in the PS store?

They discount the DLC. Just who knows when.

NIOH's is discounted as we speak. I copped the Battlefront DLC for 15 and I have seen other passes through these sales as well.

I was on the verge of trading in Dark Souls 3. I know the DLC is dropping but I have too many games I'm trying to get through. I seen the Pro update and I'm thinking I might be back on track to attempt that platinum run

I haven't got to play anything yet because I had to download everything again. I'm ready to finish up HZD.

Trails in the Sky I haven't played, but Lunar Silver Star Harmony is great if I remember correctly. Just remember it is basically a remaster of a 90's game so it looks a touch dated even with the new art assets. I never beat it, but remember enjoying it when I played it.
