The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Wish MW2 had more players logging in. There's like 650-800 on daily but TDM and Domination are the only active playlists.

Saw the kickstarter for Session... I was so close to rebuying a ps3 just to play Skate 3... is backward compatible Skate 3 online?

Son I saw the trailer and at the end I was like WTF!? I was not expecting that AT ALL. I'm really hyped for fighter pack 3

I really could/should get back on HZD, especially with the DLC out, but for some reason AC:O is calling me  been holding on to this GS gift card with like 80 on it

I'm only maybe 8 hrs into it

So with cod ww2 you can prestige your division as soon as you get all 4 skills unlocked? I’ve been doing it all wrong and been waiting to prestige at lvl 55 if so...

Now I'm imagining Netherrealm making a spiritual successor to Shaolin Monks with Ninja Turtles.

Pretending to be a Cockney James Bond in VR is a Lot of Fun

Blood and Truth, also from Sony’s London studio, is the fuller action game that London Heist demo hinted at - but still a Cockney crime caper. You are a much less posh James Bond called Ryan, and you’re immersed in London’s criminal underground. I played a level of Blood and Truth the other week and was really impressed by the way it incorporated the fun and novel aspects of VR into an action game. There’s pointing, shooting and reloading, but also messing with security cameras, setting C4, frantically jabbing at buttons in lifts, climbing ladders and picking locks.

VR does make stuff we’ve done before in games feel new and fun - this is the first action game I’ve played that feels like a slice of a full game, rather than a self-contained demo. It also didn’t make me feel queasy, which is a first for this genre.

Sony’s London studio has been experimenting for a long time with VR, and this second wave of PSVR games is looking more fulsome than what we’ve seen so far; rather than conceptual games, we’re seeing bespoke adventures that understand the format better.

I'm glad to see the 2nd wave make big improvements in terms of graphics and gameplay.

Random but I hate that a lot of games require two play throughs now to get platinum. I don't always have the time or even like a game enough to play it twice, especially just for a platinum smh.
