The Walking Dead - Official Thread

Just heard one of the Walking Dead podcasts that I listen to that this episode was ripped directly from the Rise Of The Governor novel. The timing is just different which makes absolutely no sense character development wise but I'll wait to see where it goes next episode

If anyone wants to know the differences here they are in a spoiler
- All of this happens BEFORE Woodbury
- the governor is on the road with Penny and two other men, one named Brian (the name he took in this episode) and another random guy
- they stumble upon the apartment with those two women and their sick dad
- Brian dies
- the sick dad still dies
- the governor rapes that woman and they leave while he's asleep
- Penny is bitten
- Martinez finds them and the Woodbury town arc begins

Loved the episode... still loving the series :D

Though after watching Breaking Bad nothing comes close to that.

Not one of those types that need non-stop action all of the time like some 28 Days Later or Resident Evil steez.

Happy with the show though, and they must be doing something right if they're breaking viewership records all the time.

400

You know those rating systems are flawed. They don’t take into account houses that have more than two television sets and other things of that nature.

It's been a couple days and I now have a well kept scraggly beard.

i understand why they did this episode, however, one whole episode devoted to to governor was too long.
btw, what was the governors occupation prior to the zombies taking over?
