None of them (Morata, James, ADM, Ozil) actually wanted to leave but had to. Any player who RM wants to keep and make a starter i.e. what M'bappe would be, hasn't left in a long time. All the players that left were surplus.

I think this neymar worth $222M is a perfect storm really. I personally don't see it happening again and i think the record transfer will hold for a while. This is a superstar who is in his early prime. Mbappe would need to have another stellar year this year to get even close to this type of money. But its rare that someone who is super hyped, will bring in tons of fans (he is basically a world wide superstar at this point) and in his prime will jump teams (other then kevin durant). I don't know how Mbappe would get the off the field stardom that neymar has in the next few years.
