Driving in terrible conditions is a normal thing between Nov-March around these parts so State of Emergency being declared somewhere over a couple inches of snowfall calls for some ribbing.

And for the record I'm from upstate NY, not NYC... As far as I'm concerned NYCers don't really know how to drive in this stuff either.
I also lived in West Palm Beach in 1993 when Hurricane Andrew came thru and **** on FL.

NYC gets ice all the time. I could walk outside right now and bust my *** on the icy streets because it stays 20 degrees here.
Were getting another 6 inches tonight, I can assure you I won't be sleeping at school either. I'll digging my car out to go to school though.
