If you are a committee reading 1000 word essays all day reading anymore than that will probably irritate you.

It will not help your chances.

I wouldn't worry about it. I submitted some of my apps (including the school I go to) almost a half day late b/c of some issues. I don't it will be aproblem if it's a little late.

But for the personal statement....they didn't indent my first paragraph...when I did! What the flying hell is that? I don't think it's a big deal,but come on...stupid copy and paste.
