I understand the part with the Caucasian folks . That makes sense but there's many minorities that support him.
There's a Hispanic gentleman at my job and we used to kick it and have so many talks of home ownership, job experiences and life. Then I seen him get worked up over something someone said about Trump. I was surprised.
There's also another Hispanic guy in our group that's a supporter of Trump and I really don't get it

You don’t have to be white to subscribe to white supremacy. Any ethnicity can participate. It operates even when there are no whites present which is why it is so effective.

that's how he explained their approach, and a lot of hispanics co-sign that type of mentality. i think people in general have that type of mentality too: "if i did it the right way then i have no remorse for those who didnt do it like me, they deserve whatever they get for not following rules"

Exact same thing in the Filipino Community. The illegal aliens are being outted by other Filipinos in their own community. Then, immigration sends em out.
There are also other communities that are just anti Democrat for historical reasons - like the Americans of Vietnamese or Cuban background.

You’ve got a guy who proudly identifies as Latino yet is a staunch advocate of political ideology that is deleterious to his own demographic. In short, white supremacy is a helluva drug and there’s a lot of uncle toms & tio toms out here drinking the watermelon flavored koolaid.

Pretty well studied in social sciences. A lot of minorities and poor people who made it out and lived the American Dream vote Republican. Their rationale is I worked my *** off, did it the right way, went through all the obstacles etc why should I empathize with others who don't want to do the same?
As a minority who also came to the States the right way after 20 years of dreaming about it, I can see where they're coming from but I think empathy + compassion > being proud of your accomplishments
