Even though I switched back to the iPhone , I will say hands down my htc one was my fav android device period. The N2 was cool, but the One was perfect

This.

I still want a black htc one, thats the only phone thats really wowed me this year. s4, s4 active, note 3, g pro, xperia z, g2 are all very nice phones but don't stand up the the One design-wise imho and those speakers on the One are fire. the g2 has the best screen I've ever seen though...if the sound quality on the g2 was on par with the one I'd definitely cop.

I think I'll end up with a nexus 5 though, a black one on tmobile aint happening and I'll be able to cop the n5 for cheaper.

Bruh That *** shonuff pretty :{ :x

but yeah, seems like phones are taking the "S" approach,( i.e.: GS3-GS4, N2-N3) :(

I'm gettin somethin tho, bes believe it.

I think N2-N3 is a good upgrade.
I agree it's an upgrade.. Just not big enough for me to upgrade :lol I just feel like it's best waiting for the 4 if you already have the two

realistically though what more do you want? lol we are at the peak of mobile tech, we buy phones every year just to say we got it not because its doing something that diff. I promise a Galaxy Nexus can do everything majority of us want but 8/10 of us wouldnt dare cop one now besides as a back up device.

2014 is gonna be a good year for cell phones, the potential "premium" Galaxy line, HTC one follow up, and Larger iPhone, I dont think any other device will matter outside of those 3 devices, sure there will be a new Nexus but its just gonna be more of what we expect.

how are the new galaxy, iPhone, and HTC one not also going to be just more of the same? name one new ground-breaking feature that any of those phones will have.

I understand if you're talking about marketing and which phones will sell best. but in terms of technology and functionality and hardware, I can't imagine any significant improvements in any phone. the improvements will be in battery life and software. other things, like the galaxy watch thing, will probably come to all phones soon.

If HTC keeps coming out with phones with front facing speakers, I'm sold

this.

better battery life, more storage space & higher volume when using speakers & headphones.
it'll be 2014. no damn excuses for why one can't use their $600-800 dollar smartphone to do something as simple as listen to music offline. no reason why one needs to buy a secondary device to do such a simple task that these quadcore several hundred dollar devices can't seem to get right.

*jumps off soapbox*
5.9-inch screen, Snapdragon 600, HTC Sense 5.5, fingerprint scanner
HTC has just officially announced the One Max, its latest Android smartphone with a whopping 5.9-inch 1080p display. Styled similarly to the rest of its One series with an aluminum chassis, the One Max runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and the new Sense 5.5 UI, and debuts as HTC's largest smartphone to date.

On the inside, the Max is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM. Around the back is HTC's familiar UltraPixel camera, along with a new fingerprint scanner, which can be used for security or mapped to quick-start certain apps. Internal storage comes in 16 and 32 gigabyte helpings, and there's also a microSD slot behind the removable back panel, along with a non-removable 3300mAh battery.  HTC will also offer a special flip cover with a built-in 1200mAh battery to augment the Max's battery life — the case connects to the phone through pogo pins on the back cover.

HTC's BoomSound front-facing speakers have made it across too, though following the end of the HTC/Beats partnership, the Max doesn't feature Beats Audio software enhancements.

HTC's Sense 5.5 software adds new features to BlinkFeed, including full Google+ support, RSS integration and searching — as well as the ability to turn off BlinkFeed if you want. The Gallery app has been expanded with more control over video highlights, as well as a new side-scrolling layout.

The HTC One Max is due to launch first in the UK later this week, followed by a wider international launch. In the U.S. it'll launch on Verizon and Sprint for the holidays.
More HTC One Max coverage:
Keep it locked to Android Central for more HTC One Max coverage!

Lost me at Snapdragon 600
Why? Its just as fast as the HTC One, which is lightning fast and has no lag at all. At this point in devices, you wont notice the difference, especially since HTC has highly optimized their Sense UI.  Unless all you do is run benchmark apps all day, the 600 is way more than enough.

Word. Just cuz its a lower number, don't mean ****, you ain't gonna use it to it's max anyway. :lol

Played with the Note 3 + the watch and now I wanna trade in my One. What do you guys think? Do it or it's just a gimmick?

Definitely a gimmick. It's useful but not worth the price at all. It's the same price as the phone smh

Finally got around to putting my S4 white carbon fiber skin back on.

I still have to put the white leather skin backing on my 2013 Nexus 7.

I just realized I never posted a pic of the skins since I put them on over the weekend.
