I still have and love the Galaxy Nexus. About the battery...just get a 3500 mAh battery and door cover and case for 25 bucks on Amazon. I purchased the Trexxcell version. Works great. I go 2 days no problem. I think my next phone will be the Note 3. Possibly gonna get the zerolemon 9000 mAh battery for like 27 bucks.HTC One Maxx needs a Google Play Edition.
Currently using a Galaxy Nexus and coming from the Note 2 the battery life is trash.
HTC One Maxx with battery cover has potential to have epic battery life.
Want to recommend a battery? I feel like I'm gonna have my Gnex for like another year or so would like to stop dealing with the struggleI still have and love the Galaxy Nexus. After showing up alongside a Nexus 5 late last week, Android 4.4 KitKat appeared yet again in a series of leaked screenshots. This time around, the upcoming Android release got caught running on an ASUS Nexus 7 (2013).
The screenshots showcase the new OS alongside it predecessor (click to enlarge)
In line with previous leaks, the screenshots reveal some of the UI changes which Android 4.4 KitKat will bring. They include mildly redesigned stock apps including Quickoffice integration, new additions to the settings menu, as well as the cool-looking Android KitKat Easter egg.
According to the source of the screenshots, the Android build captured in them predate the official KitKat announcement. This explains the presence of a Key Lime Pie codename in them.
this review reinforces my belief that this phone was supposed to be available much earlier in the year. the mini and the max probably was supposed to be launched around the same time.
lolwut?
I'm disappointed in the end product but if it were available on tmobile I was still consider it. as of right now i dont even have that option so on to the nexus 5.
I feel like HTC Dropped the ball on the Max. It has the supreme performance of the One, but they added no real features to take advantage of that size. No integrated stylus with functions to take advantage of it. Fingerprint scanner awkwardly integrated. No OIS. That phone is too big and awkward to not have an actual REASON to be that large. They couldve had a true Note Killer, but instead just have a phone thats essentially competing with the irrelevant Galaxy Mega. Was considering switching to the Max, but now?....Nah. My next switch from this Note 2 is between the One, Note 3, or Nexus 5.
That's crazy.. I was there this weekend and ask if the note 3 was still in stock he said yup still a lot. I asked because I've heard they been selling out at stores. He said the only phones sold out were the 5sWent to the ATT store to check out some phones, liked the N3 but as soon as i seen that G2 it was a wrap told dude i want the G2 and he tells me they're sold out (in both colors). I tell him give me the Note 3 then and he tells me thats sold out too in both colors SMH
Maybe it wasn't meant to be, guess i'll wait for the N5.
