So is there an official release date for the Galaxy S2 for T-mobile? Sorry i've been behind on phones with this damn blackberry for the past 2-3 years

warranty issues?  it's completely reversible.

fear of bricking?  android is nearly unbrickable (unless you do something really stupid).

Actually, I've never seen a simple tutorial re: rooting. If anybody has one or just tips in general for the Droid Pro, let me know.

What are the advantages of rooting? I don't do much customizing w/my phone. The max I want to do is take off a few of the stock apps and Google Music Beta.

Thats still considered customizing your phone bruh...................

If im not mistaken, there is an app called SUPERONECLICK that roots the droid phones................not many droid owners here, you`ll have to search for yourself on the details.

people go to xda and get intimidated 
imo the directions are sloppy on xda and can cause a newb to mess up...if a new way comes out they just add it to the original directions instead of fulling deleting the older steps
