We gon' SHOCK THE WORLD TONIGHT. We got this vs. the Knicks. Some good team is gonna take this bum *** Wizards team for granted and get caught slippin'.
Oh yeah...this is absurd. John Feinstein suggest the Wizards hire Gary Williams

On a Sour note

John Wall to visit doctor, no target for return

John Wall plans to visit a doctor in Washington on Thursday to get an update on the stress injury in his left knee. Wall found out about the problem five weeks ago, when he visited orthopedic specialist David Altchek in New York and the Wizards projected that he would miss at least eight weeks.

He isn’t expected to return until close to December, and while those close to him have hoped that he could return by Nov. 30 in New York, Wall said he doesn’t have a scheduled return in his mind.

“No target at all,” Wall said, shaking his head. “No. I wish I did.”

Wall remains limited to stretching and shooting jumpers while standing still as he recovers, but he doesn’t want to rush back and aggravate the injury, especially with Altchek warning him of the risk of a stress fracture without the appropriate rest.

“I learned my first year to listen to my body more than my heart,” Wall said. “I came back injured but I still came back okay, but I didn’t come back the way I wanted to. I know to take my time this time.

“Not playing basketball, period, is tough,” Wall said. “This is my first time really being out for a long time and not being able to come back. Especially when you start with new coaches, new team, so many guys new, it’s pretty tough, but it’s something you’ve got to deal with and take your time and come back healthy.”

Wall has spent his time offering support for his teammates on the bench, serving as a pseudo-assistant coach and patiently waiting for his chance to contribute on the floor with them. He maintains high expectations for what he can accomplish this season.

“I don’t like to tell my goals. I like to kind of keep them to myself,” Wall said. “I go to the doctor tomorrow and see where my process is going, so just take my time and wait and see.”

Wish we could have him back games are just that more exciting despite us still being bad.

Idk but i feel like we're tanking even tho with him in the lineup we'd still be bad

After improving their record to 2-13....Webster was quoted that if the Wizards keep playing like this, "We'll be at .500 in no time!"

Hate to break it to you.......no you won't. The Wiz would have to go 11-0 to make it to .500. It takes a few weeks to even play 11 games, let alone win 11.

Please elaborate how we beat the Heat? Couldn't watch the game.
I need details

Pushed the ball in transition. Didn't rely as much on a slower paced offense in the halfcourt.

Thoughts about the game tonight?

Stick to the script. Do what worked vs. the Heat and this one should be, at the very least, competitive. Maaaaybe we even squeak out a win.

Or...just hope Atlanta comes out and takes them lightly like Miami did for 3 quarters and catch them slipping.

Wizards need that first road win........
The good news is, the Philips Arena looks exactly like the Verizon Center........
EMPTY!
WHy do you keep saying Wizards game dont get much attendence?

we average 15,538..which is more then the Sixers and they are a winning team....alll the games ive been this year have been fairly full...we have the worst record in the nba but the attendence is up to par..shows you that at least we have faith in our team.

21st in the league right now.

Out of 30 teams, I wouldn't necessarily say that's "up to par".

From 2007 on up, it's gotten progressively worse. I expect next season to really dip into the bottom 3-5.

but you are right about it not being as bad Atlanta. They are third worst right now.

Those numbers are not indicative of how full the arena is with actual people/fans.

Most of those figures and totals are based on tickets sold.

When I worked there back in 2008 we would have "sell-outs" with half the damn arena empty still and thousands of tickets to "give-away."

Have you been to a game this year? I saw the Bucks and there couldn't have been more than 6,000 people there. I have seen more people at a VCU game.

Definitely can't play you guys according to your record. I honestly thought you'd get your next win against us.

Good game, and best of luck during the rest of the season.........Except against us. Still need Wall for my fantasy team :smh:..

AJ Price has a fractured right hand, said prognosis is out 4-6 weeks. "But I'm a quick healer." #Wizards

Wizards didn't sign him because???????
What difference would it had made?

People have to realize that the most glaring problem with this team can't be solved by one or two players (cept Lebron or KD). The problem is at the top.

Plus, the OkAriza deal was made before the draft. That cap space was eaten before Free Agency started. Couldn't have signed for anywhere near the amount Dallas signed him for.

Well I think he would have helped because 17 games into the season nobody on the team has scored more than 23 points.

I agree Ted needs to wake up and get rid of Ernie

That's great and all...

But that does that make the, a playoff contender?

If OJ Mayo wins the Wizards 5 more games (if that) than they currently have now...what difference does it make? They'd still be a bad team.
