was i the middle of that 3d craze
so more than half the theater showings were 3d
which meant higher markup

I haven't watched Avatar since I saw in theaters on Christmas Day 2009.

While the 3D effects were great, the film was average as hell.

I guess. Dolby and imax prices are near 30 a ticket by my way. 3d tickets in 2009 are definitely not that expensive.
