He's exempt given he is wearing the gauntlet. If he had got dusted somebody could just pick it up and immediately undo what he did. It's why in his weakened state he just dipped after the snap and started farming.

SHANG-CHI Actually Had A Stronger Domestic Opening Weekend Than Previously Reported
As previously reported, Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings exceeded all expectations by securing the biggest Labor Day opening weekend of all-time. Initial reports indicated that the MCU adventure would reach $90 million by close of business Monday, but the movie actually took in more than we realized.
The Master of Martial Arts' big-screen debut earned $19.2 million yesterday (giving it the best Monday of the Pandemic Era and the 27th biggest Monday of all-time), bringing its domestic total to $94.67 million. This means it could well hit $100 million tonight.

Like RFX said, straight-forward with a well-thorough cast. Assumed “Zombie Hunter” Spidey would’ve been a more defined character when he was introduced, but it was just him temporarily wearing the cape.
