Just seen it. Yo I haven't cried from laughter in so long. I needed that. 
I really enjoyed it. Plot was weak compared to Vol. 1, but still passable. The music, visuals, characters, comedy and everything else made up for it.

I actually thought the plot was more ambitious in VOL. 2. Including gods, the Ravagers, sister-bonding with Nebulla/Gamorra, etc. And it never felt bogged down at all.
VOL. 1 was pretty straight-forward, get-them-all-together origin storyline. I think the advantage of the first one (and why a lot of people prefer it to the sequel) is that it was such a breathe of fresh air. The music, the characters, the tone. We didn't expect it to mesh this well (or at least I didn't).
I still like VOL 2 and will enjoy re-watching it when it comes out on Blu-Ray

The first movie was emotional for me but that's because of the beginning stuff with Quill and his mom. I think my siblings teared up when they saw it.
