WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 FINALE out now

I really liked how Killmonger gave T'Challa the hands fair and square in the first bout. He's the rightful leader of Wakanda in my book.

I'm pretty interested in seeing how Nebula and Shuri are going to interact. I know they definitely shot scenes with each other

Back to W'Kabi, so y'all are cool with this guy turning his back on his best friend (and king) to side with this outsider just cause he showed up with Klaue's body??

Didn't even give T'Challa a warning or nothing. Just straight up escorted him to the throne room and was in full support of Killmonger's claim.

Then he kills your boy in ritual combat. I mean he won fairly but your best friend just ****ing died dude.

Plus when it turns out that he ain't dead and he shows up for one last fight for the throne, you sic your whole tribe on him???

Naw. I'm not with that. W'Kabi needs to be put on trial.

But honestly I was surprised (and pleased) by how flawed some of these characters were. Not just altruistic good guys for the sake of being good. Lots of depth and development here.

-T'Chaka killed his own brother and abandoned his nephew.

-Zuri carried on that lie for years while mentoring T'Challa

-T'Challa having to deal with carrying on the legacy, leading a nation, dealing with the killmonger revelation.

-Okoye's inner conflict about where her loyalties lie.

-Nakia still being in love with T'Challa but also wanting to serve her country.

It was honestly very impressive and something I thought about long after the movie ended.

W'Kabi was shady but also still very hurt his parents murderer wasn't brought to justice (which pretty much prepped him to make that switch in loyalties) and he obviously had some issues with T'Chaka's reign as king.

As for thinking T'challa was dead these guys all mourn in their own ways. Not like he was smiling after Killmonger threw him off then
cliff.

Usurper T'challa getting help from Traitor M'baku... big surprise..
Wait how is M'Baku a traitor?

Dude isn't loyal to any king of Wakanda.

1. Mbaku hadn't "turned" on Tchalla when he brought Eric to the palace. He did his duty by bringing in an outsider with the Wakandan lip tattoo.
2. Mbaku got his justice through Killmonger by killing Claw.. So he didn't feel exactly loyal to killmonger out the gate, but grateful.
3. KILLMONGER WAS THE RIGHTFUL KING. Mbaku, who not only sympathized with the kings motives, was just following orders brought to you by the King...
Even if T'challa, hadn't "technically" lost (which we all know he lost stop fooling yourselves) Eric was still technically King by default since T'challa wasn't around and he had the strongest claim... until their fight was over.
No I dont blame Mbaku for following his rightful heir.

Fine Unloyal Mbaku, (who no one there seemed to like since they pretty much excommunicated the mountain people)
