I think as a gesture it is very cool and is supposed to make a statement.

I dont know you all hate on the alphas. I like em...and yes for a $100 you get a good shoe that pays proper respect to the og. I would rock these alphas over ANY of the CRAPPY hybrids like the AJF1, 6 rings, or 17-90-83-79 dang shoes.  please...alphas are tons better than any of that wackness.
