Hombre is going to miss Edge a lot.
We definitely had a moment last night. As you could tell I was a little shook up by Edge's retirement. It hit me in the pit of my stomach hard. It was so bad that it made it almost easy to accept the fact that TennHouse2 is main eventing with TheGeek.
Cheers to an excellent career.
P.S. I know Edge has his moment with 4W last night as well. NTWT cameras captured it last night for all of us to see.

Wow...
I got back into WWE sometime around Edge winning his first strap, and he has EASILY been my favorite since then. Definitely my 2nd favorite of all-time behind The Rock. Something about making the character very believable is why he's been my favorite the past few years. You never felt like his maniacal moments were an act. Even the small things... like I remember him telling Cena he hated him, his wristbands, his hats and his Cenation. I was like "damn... his wristbands and hat? that's real hate, playa." Even though I definitely preferred heel Edge, even face Edge was great because he could easily turn his a-hole tendencies into comedy. Like I thought him abducting Paul Bearer was comedy in an awful feud. Lastly, he'll always be a part of my favorite post-Attitude era moment.... when he pimp slapped the +#%@ out of John Cena's dad. That was the most excellent thing I'd seen in years.
If you had told me during the Attitude era that the cat with the long jaw and hella teeth who comes down from the stands would become a perennial main eventer, I wouldn't have believed it. I'm glad he did though. And even though I feel selfish for being upset that he is forced to retire, I'm definitely happy he's gone before more severe damage is done to his body.
