There is one very influential person in the company that is against The Rock and John Cena at WrestleMania. This person feels working with The Rock will be counterproductive for John Cena because it will not help him to get over as a face. However, the company is already committed to John Cena vs The Rock, so they feel they have to go that way.

Wow, what the hell is the WWE thinking??? That ship sailed like 4 years ago.

I thought the purpose of Cena v. Rock was to put Cena over with the 18 & over crowd. I mean think about it, Rock's last few comebacks have involved him losing to put people futher over (Brock, Goldberg, Orton & Batista.)

Cena may beat the Rock, but Cena is going to be booed out of Miami, and it will be even worse if he wins.

This dude Jeremiah won't shut up...and Cena has to go over at Mania...no sense in having a guy go over who may show up 2-4 times a yr

I don't  have time for a TNA write up. Last week was mediocre. Abyss Vs. Kendrick had a nice finish. Huge pop for Kendrick.

Let me sum up my thoughts on TNA at the moment...

Things could be a lot better.

Regardless, Sting is still the man. I'm looking forward to Sting Vs. Angle at Hardcore Justice.

Nuff said.

Bully Ray is very entertaining guy is too much...that, Sting, and Angle are the only reasons why i DL and watch Impact

WWE would be the dumbest company on the planet if they even think about calling off Cena/Rock. That is the biggest money match they can do in this generation.

--WWE took in $142.6 million in revenue and finished with a $14.3 million profit for the second quarter, which included WrestleMania.  Of that, $11.4 million of the profit was WrestleMania, which is great when it comes to Mania, but when you think about it, that really says something about how the rest of the quarter did with a $2.9 million profit compared to last year, without Mania, being $6.3 million.

--Worldwide PPV numbers, updated, are 1,059,000 for WrestleMania (third biggest in history trailing only 2007 and 2005 although with more international homes now, that's a misleading comparison), 209,000 for Extreme Rules, 140,000 for Over the Limit and 170,000 for Capitol Punishment.  He also estimated Money in the Bank being up 20% from last year, which would be 197,000 buys.  That has to be a huge disappointment if you think about it, although I guess you can spin it differently.  He tried to use MITB being up as the beginning of the trend in a PPV turnaround, but anyone who follows the product can tell you that whatever up MITB was, was due to a unique onetime circumstance of the main event, and not indicative of the product overall.

If I had a business and my bottom line was up 20%.. I wouldn't necessarily call that a disappointment. It would only be disappointing if projections were astronomical. (50-60% range)

I think Cena is already too established as a character, and even a win over the Rock won't change the feelings of those that don't like him. If anything,it'll make them hate him more.
