According to the AP, Fred Rouse, once one of the most sought-after recruits in the country who tried to revive his career at Texas-El Paso, has left the Miners after one season, coach Mike Price said Friday.
"Fred will not be coming back for personal reasons and will most likely be going back to Florida," Price said in a statement.
Rouse transferred to UTEP where he played in 10 games last season, catching 25 passes for 379 yards and two touchdowns.
"We tried to make it work, and Fred tried hard to make it work," Price said. "It's unfortunate that he's not going to play for the Miners next year, but we wish him the best."

From my understanding, He didnt leave on the best of terms and he may have left with more enemies than Friends.
Im guessing we're gonna see him transfer to FAM. He prolly better off at BCC tho.

Thats no good....
Hope he ain't involved in that 'other life'.....and get caught up like Bryan Pata (R.I.P)
^Yeah there is. I can think of a bunch.
You still suck. Charlie Weis is your coach. And your team is comprised of a bunch of 5* overrated sissies.
I see Notre Lame winning 3.......maybe 5 at best.
They win 3 or 4 games this year..
I'll log off NT forever
I recognize my teams faults...but that's just not happening with that schedule. Yes we're soft up front, they're young. Talent needs to finally bedeveloped, etc. I know.
But,
Uhhh, Miami aint in no better shape, no matter how much yall wanabelieve it.
Charlie Weis has proven more on the college level then Randy Shannon has as a head coach, too.
No matter how much you want to avoid that, too.
As far as I'm concerned, ND, Miami, FSU....all trash right now.
Prove it on the field. I'm sick of the hype, the new staffs, new recruits, new QB's, all that #!+%!!+@.
Aint nothin change until results change on the field.
