That was an intense game! Glad we came away with the draw.

I am disappointed that the ref missed that goal. Could've been a completely different contest. But it is what it is. At least we didn't lose the points lead over Valencia. Next time we see them will be at home. And we'll have Dembele back 8)

We’re talking about teenagers/young players ability to succeed in different leagues. Bernardo was brought up as having struggled a bit to adjust to the EPL after flourishing in Ligue 1 last year. The physicality in EPL seems to be greater than in other leagues and for young players that may not be fully physically mature, it’s going to be more difficult to succeed than it may be in other leagues. That’s not to say all youngsters in England fail or that they’re more talented than in other leagues, I’m just giving the reason as to why we see some of these young players post lesser numbers and “success” than young players in some other leagues.

You yourself love to point at some of the brute-ish tactics of some EPL managers. I noted many of the teams playing 10 behind the ball against big clubs. I’m not saying these tactics make better football, but they are difficult to play against and the effects can be especially noticeable with young players until they learn to adjust.

I’d be curious to see stats on the total number of chances created by league and then the total number of goals by league as well as the total number of fouls. Maybe that will portray a different story than the one I’ve seen with my own eyes when watching EPL games compared to other leagues but it just feels like the physicality and tactics in the EPL is very difficult to play against, hence the struggles certain youngsters face in adjusting to the style of play.

The physicality of the Prem has very little to do with young players being about to succeed in the league. It's the failure of properly integrating the young players by getting them consistent playing time. The pressure to win coupled with the buying power of English teams has created an environment where clubs would rather buy a player than invest time in growing young players because of the pressure to win.

Take for instance Lukaku. Once he was loaned out to West Bros & got constant playing time, he was scoring goals just fine and he continued to do so when he eventually went to Everton.

Look at your team, when Martial first came to United, he was able to score/play just fine but once Jose arrived, his playing time pretty much came to a stop & then played very sporadically. You can't expect a young player to grown when he gets very little playing time. You can't expect a young player (or any player for that matter) to just turn it on when he only plays once in a great while.

Look if you truly believe that you said, then SMH, you got it...

The race for the title in Serie A is looking real tight right now...

Got Napoli 4 points clear of Juve in 3rd and Inter in 2nd

excuse the quality in some pics, I know I need a new phone.

Tell me why my footy bros were hyping the hell out of em before the season? On paper they looked good but it just seemed like they were missing a striker.

^^Probably because of all the goodwill generated from the change in ownership and all thr money they spent on a lot of promising young talent but no one would've guessed how tough of a time they'd have. Growing pains would be expected with basically a whole new XI but damn theyve struggled quite a bit at times. Was never sold on Montella being the guy to lead them but they definitely do need a clinical no.9,right now there's no one they can really rely on for consistent goals.

They were linked to Obama,Morata and Belotti in the summer but didn't manage to get any of them, that would've helped a lot. They should def try going back in for Belotti in the winter window.

Didnt expect Gattuso to take charge sp soon but i guess its more of a caretaker role for now. One of my fav mids ever.

Long term, they should hit up Carlo to see if he'd be interested in coming back.

In other news, this pic of Bielsa is so sad

That Germany kit is flames
