A&M could reclaim east Texas like they used to, that would affect LSU.

"Basically my little brother was bright enough to qualify for an academic scholarship, so he is a preferred walk-on(?) at a Top 25 program, known for being very selective academically. He calls me at crying yesterday that his position coach is directing racial slurs at him, among other things during practice. Dude is apparently singling out my little bro, and riding him all practice, every practice. My first thought is that my little brother is being an h-word and needs to man up. But he tells me the head coach (and the AD?) caught wind and told my little brother they're very sorry and that he can go home for a few days if he needs to, and his spot will still be there -- but maybe they were just doing damage control? Also, even other players pulled my brother to the side and told my bro they feel sorry for him. Is this normal? I never played football, but I have friends that played D1 and they tell me coaches are crazy, so I don't know. The whole go home for a few days seems odd to me. Since epithets are involved I guess I should note that my brother is a 17 y/o white, the coach is a 40ish y/o black. One example of his ire is, "...you piece of s-word n-word (with er).." Ridic. Any insight appreciated."
