Keep in mind, Pac 12/SEC/BIG 10 will not let Texas join w/ LSN-& UT is set to make $300 mil over 20yrs-that is why Dodds wants to keep Big12

I agree with this. Why push to 16 if no other conferences have moved to that point yet? Would adding Clemson and Missouri along with A&M and FSU make it that much stronger than it already is? I dont see some huge benefit of going to 16 instead of 14.

Big 12 could stay Alive if they wanted to Add SMU & Houston, but to get the Championship game, it would be a stretch to find another team.

I think if everything starts to go down, the big east will try and get Notre Dame, Villanova, and Perhaps UCF to try and stay relevant.

Too bad TCU went to the Big East. They can add Rice and get to 12. Move closer toward the old Southwest Conference.
