Not trying to sound bias or a homer but staph is the best pg of all time. I seen magic in his prime and steph does everything he did but with explosive scoring. Better defender as well

Steph isn't the greatest defender by any stretch of the imagination, but you can never say he doesn't give his best effort on that side of the ball. The dude actually tries to play defensive to the best of his ability. That's all you can ask of a player at the end of the day. There are other guys in the league up to his caliber and doesn't give half the effort on defense as Steph does.

There's a lot to be said about that.

You guys were right. No one expected the Cavs to win. Except for all of these people:

Lebron willed his team to the finals against all expectations. Not to mention, next to no one chose the raptors on the god damn poll.

Give me a god damn break.
I called that ish. That ish was easy af to predict. I knew Cavs would win the east soon as Kyrie was done.

Give me a god damn break.

Idk what the argument is , i just Got a notification for getting quoted.

But fam you must be really bored or really hate/love the Cavs to go back and quote
All this ****

:rollin

damn junglejim junglejim . The receipts you have is kind of creepy. I know about the search function, but dammit, that looks like you saved it for a future date.

What are those predictions? Mine said GSW in 6 and Cavs in 7 (I think). Was that prior to conference championship?

:lol:Out of busy season at work. I've got time right now. But you can click on the quote to see where it came from.

I didn't say that. Not sure why you immediately jumped to that conclusion. Sure, 8 straight finals appearances is impressive, but when you're doing it against weak competition in your respective conference, it's going to be held against you. Again, you're argument is volume. When you consider volume into the conversation, you're immediately discounting value. At that point it's a law of averages. But unfortunately, this ain't baseball where doing something well only 30% of the time is impressive.

Why should we be impressed with going to the Finals 8-9 times and winning 3 times as a major accomplishment, when we've already seen someone go 6 times and won 6 times and was responsible for those wins? I'm sorry, but I can't get over that. And neither will most people.

Statistics don't mean much. Wilt Chamberlain dominated in that regard, but again it's held against him because of the competition he's faced during that time.

Safe to say the level of competition in the NBA has been pretty decent the last 15 years so there’s no Asterix next to Bron’s numbers.

And if stats don’t mean much why is Lebron even in the same conversation as MJ? There’s plenty of guys who have won more rings than he has.

It clearly matters.

Again for emphasis. 70% of the all NBA talent has been in the conference opposite of Lebron since going to Miami. 3 other first team players in that same span from the east not named Lebron. His competition has been a joke overall.

All season people talked about how trash the Cavs are and how they wouldn’t make the Finals... now the East is trash again and LeBron played nobody
junglejim junglejim these narrative switches go both ways bro

And if LeBron was in the West he would have better teammates.... meaning probably less Finals appearances but more rings

If stats matter then why isn't Kareem in the discussion? Why isn't Westbrook considered the second coming of Jesus? Why isn't James Harden considered top 3? Why is Jadakiss as hard as it gets?
