Problem is a lot of teams either are developing young PGs or locked in with their current PG in place. The ones that don't have cap space to sign Schroder outright (Mavs, Pelicans, Bulls, Knicks). Maybe he'll do a sign and trade out of the kindness of his heart, but it may cost the Lakers an additional second rounder to get a team to cooperate.

If Beal is depending on having the highest salary, not only is he happy losing, he’s also short sighted. Being a winner and a champion absolutely leads to more $, both in career and after career. Look at guys like LeBron, KD, Steph… they know where the $ is, and it’s beyond just having the highest salary.

Eh Beal isn’t a face of the league like those other guys are. Giannis has personality. That’s why people like him. You can have that while losing etc. Beal hasn’t shown that

Lebron/KD/Steph are all time greats. You cant possibly compare Beal to them. Those guys would be getting endorsements regardless. They aren't making a ton of endorsements because they won rings.

There are only a handful of champions that matter. Winning a ring wouldn't boost his earnings all that much. He's not the face of the league kind of player.
