something is fishy about joe johnson/hawks

it doesn't take a second option too long to verbally commit if it's 120 million dollars. it's been days now......

Yea i got a feeling something is brewing with JJ and the hawks probably a S&T. If amare is what it takes to get lebron you do it no questions asked.

Heard that bill walker, ewing jr, and marcus landry are back on our summer league rosters
Walker On New York's Summer League Roster
Bill Walker has been included on the Knicks Summer League roster.

Walker's contract for both 10-11 and 11-12 becomes fully guaranteed if the Knicks do not waive him prior to July 7th.

Walker will earn $854,389 in 10-11 and $916,100 in 11-12.

Because the additional cap space New York could create by waiving Walker is minimal, he is virtually guaranteed of remaining on the roster.

Also on New York's roster are Toney Douglas, Patrick Ewing, Jr., Andy Rautins, Marcus Landry, Leo Lyons, Landry Fields, Charles Garcia and Andy Rautins.

Andy Rautins is so good he's listed twice

Ewing Jr. is back? I thought I read he was going to be on Orlando's summer league roster.  Either way, I'd really like to see him make a team.

After that we'd have Walker, LeBron, Posey and Paul under contract which would be about $40mm on the cap leaving say $20mm for 8 players w/maybe the MLE. Say you convince one of these PF's to take a backloaded contract that could work in your favor I suppose. But even if it comes out to $11mm a year that leaves you with little money to fill out the roster. And no cap space for a until 2014. I'd say no right now.
Going off what the cap dude said on SC when explaining Riley signing 3 max deals you can go over the cap to sign vet minimums and 2nd rounders or something like that.

It's obvious he's waiting to see where Bron and Bosh go. If Bron comes here he'd probably see if he could work something out with the Knicks cuz I think he thinks there's a great chance of winning with him.

Why does he need to rush to sign his contract? Maybe he just wants to relax with his family for the holiday weekend and then get back to Atlanta afterward when he's ready to announce his decision. Makes sense to me.

He's on both. He's playing with Orlando in their league and with the Knicks in Vegas

was just gonna post that

get it +@@%$+% done. get rid of this damn black cloud over the city.

couple months back... i did say Amare was the most likely to come here but if he can lure Lebron... than

Wade just spoke to the media after his meeting w. us....
"It was a good meeting, a real good meeting.  I'm intrigued."

I hear ya Zik. Still gonna be a little rough to fill out the roster. I'm sure if all that heavy lifting ever gets done, Donnie would have no problem rounding out the other spots.

Question I wanted to pose to you all, who should the Knicks try and bring in to sort of be the heir to Donnie?

I think Allan Houston is being groomed for it.

Donnie's already anointed Allan Houston as the heir apparent.

I mean is Donnie leaving any time soon? Was his surgery that serious? I think we still have time with the guy. Couple more years, I think he wants to be here when we win a chip if we do get these players.

$*$% DWade. Talkin about being in a NYSOM and claiming to be intrigued. Go back to your herpes invested orgies in South Beach play boy

it's Mullin then H20 or H20 right now. he is being groomed like allen said.

GET THIS *%$* DONE

I always wanted Amare ahead of Bosh....staying healthy is obviously the biggest key for him but its good to see we got a marquee name to come here...lessens the pressure a lot and gives us a lot of options to field a good team even if lebron doesnt come

Forgot about him. Prtichard was a guy I was a little interested in. I think he would have learned from his mistakes in Portland and I think he might be ready to clear his name so to speak. But I have no problems with Allan.

And, i wouldnt trade Gallo and Chandler with the expiring for CP. Until i hear definite reports that his knee was healed correctly, i'd stay away from him.

I'm not so sure about giving Amare the max...but if it brings James over, why the hell not.

and H20 as our GM? i'm not so sure about that...i rather have Pritchard.

That makes sense, thanks.  Either way I'd be thrilled, I'd love to have him on the Knicks, but I'm from central FL and Orlando is my #2 so seeing him with the Magic would be awesome.

Source close to Amare Stoudemire says that he will meet with New York over the weekend and likely agree to a deal by Monday, at the latest. 6 minutes ago via web

Now time for Bosh to take the max in Miami.

LeBron can't want to stay and try to take on Bosh/Wade by himself.

Chicago or NJ with Carlos Boozer? idk

let's get it..please god..

Douglas
Chandler
LeBron
Gallo
Amare

that's a very athletic team with a dead eye shooter and great pick and roll tandem. 7SSOL would be
